Part-time study is particularly designed for those without the usual university entrance qualifications. If you are over 21 and have 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent), you are eligible to apply and our students range from 21 years of age to 70!

Our part-time courses offer the opportunity to improve job prospects or take an existing interest to a new level, alongside work or other full-time commitments  Short courses for University Certificates and Diplomas in specific areas like Counselling or Business Management, carry credit which can be used if you then decide to enrol on the degree programme. The part-time Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree is for those who, at whatever stage of their life or career, want to acquire the skills, knowledge and opportunities associated with an undergraduate qualification from the University, through evening and weekend study. The degree programme offers two pathways: Arts, Culture and Society and Management and Business Studies.

B.A. Arts Culture and Society examines historical, cultural, social, and political themes which have shaped our world, and will influence its future. Related disciplines develop a range of understanding and skills which contribute to personal and career development.

B.A. Management and Business Studies Degree in Management and Businessprovides the theoretical and practical knowledge relevant principally to those building a career in the world of business, the public or voluntary sectors.
