Thesis Title: Popular theatre and acculturation: applied theatre techniques and the Mainland Chinese International student experience

Summary of Research: My research centres on the use of the Popular Theatre method as a tool for Chinese undergraduates to critically examine and explore their cultural and academic experiences in a UK university. This research is participant driven and places high importance on participants’ own reflections and observations.
