Academic & Research Staff
Under the University's Ethics Approval Requirements, all research involving human participants, material or data must receive ethics approval. Researchers therefore need to submit a research ethics application to the School of Education’s Research Ethics Committee for approval before commencing their research.

Please download the form and guidance notes here and submit 3 signed copies to the Ethics Secretary, School of Education, Room 0G 018, 20 College Green.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the Principal Investigator to add any research projects involving human participants, material or data to the University’s Human Subjects Database for insurance purposes. (The Human Subjects Database is accessible through QOL under ‘My Research’.)
