Dr Susan Kehoe is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Effective Education (CEE) and is currently working on the Sesame Tree Series 2 project. Susan’s background is in higher education where she obtained her doctorate ‘Markets in Higher Education: European Case Studies’ which examined how different marketisation policies had impacted on students in different jurisdictions. Since joining CEE in 2006, Susan has worked mainly in the area of education and the media for young children. Her involvement in Sesame Tree Series 2 follows on from her role in Sesame Tree Series 1 and the BBC funded ‘State of Minds: The Children’. Susan has carried out research studies and evaluations for those projects and has experience of using quantitative and qualitative research methods to research children and adults.
