Programmes are designed and delivered with the professional in mind, with a mix of teaching, skills-based training and research, by academics and professionals in their specialist fields.  Our modules are taught either in the evenings, at weekends or online. Entrance requirements vary with the level of the course and relevant experience as well as formal qualifications will be taken into consideration.

Short Courses: Professional Development with Flexible Study Options

We understand the many demands on your time so we've made it easy to study for a Masters module as a short course*. Classes are in the evening, at the weekend or online.  We'll store your results, just in case you want to work towards a qualification such as the Advanced Certificate in Education (60 credits) or the Diploma of Advanced Study in Education (DASE, 120 credits). If you're interested in studying for a short course please contact the Education Secretary (tel: 028 9097 5923).

*if you complete only one module you will earn a Certificate of Attendance.

We also offer research degree (PhD/MPhil/EdD), Intial Teacher Education (PGCE) and Higher Education teaching (PGCHET) programmes.
