Diploma in the Advanced Study of Education (DASE)

If you don't want to study for a full Masters degree you may complete the Diploma in Advanced Study in Education (DASE) (120 M points).  If you are interested in studying for a DASE or even just one module as a short course, please contact the Postgraduate Office. Full details of modules can be found in the MEd/MSc Book of Modules 2012-13.

Course Information   
Duration: The courses may be completed over one academic year or students may build up the required number of modules over a period of five years from initial enrolment.
Closing date:

31 May 2012.  We will continue to accept applications to courses where places are available until 1 September 2012.  Applicants must apply for an MEd or MSc and then exit the programme after successfully completing 120 M points.

Cats: The DASE attracts 120 credit points at M level
Fee:

Part-time (normally 60 CATS per year, over 2 years): £21.78 per credit point
Note: fees change each year, fees quoted are for Home/ EU students
