Research Forums
The School hosts or is associated with a number of university-based research fora.
Several members of the School have associations with this forum, hosted by the School of History & Social Anthropology and the School of English 'Medieval Cultures' seminar series is supported by this forum.
The School is happy to support the Forum for Irish Studies which promotes and co-ordinates research across a full range of disciplines. The Forum's Assistant Director is currently Dr Eamonn Hughes, a Senior Lecturer in English.
Forum for 18th Century Studies
The School is happy to support this forum which promotes interdisciplinary research across all disciplines associated with the Forum: English, French, Irish, History, Music, Spanish.
Staff in the School also co-direct the Forum for Translation and Cultural Encounter, hosted by the School of Languages, Literatures and Performing Arts
