What degree pathway are you studying at Queen’s?

Anthropological  PhD programme.

Why did you choose to study Anthropology at Queen’s?

I was attracted by its well-established academic fame.

What do you particularly enjoy about studying this subject at Queen’s?

It is really well organized department. And it is like a big academic family where I can benefit from both teachers and colleagues.

What about studying at Queen’s in general? What is that like?

In my spare time, I will do exercises in PEC, where you can find various high-quality sport facilities and diversified clubs to meet your needs.

What would you like to do when you finish your degree?

If I graduate from Queen’s, I will go back to China to continue my academic research as a teacher in a university. I believe I will enjoy my career, particularly, with what I learn from Queen’s.

Would you recommend studying Anthropology to other students? What advice would you give them?

I will recommend other Chinese students to study Anthropology at Queen’s. You can get well trained in both research and career skill. You will enjoy studying in Belfast, a truly nice city. But do pay attention to the weather difference, it is really cold in Belfast.
