Undergraduate History (Level 2)

Programme Structure

History Single Honours Plan

Students are required to take SIX modules (120 credits) from the list below (THREE in semester 1 and THREE in semester 2).  Students MUST take either HIS2055 or HIS2063. Please see the bottom of this page for the provisional timetable.

History Joint Honours Plan
Students are required to take THREE modules (60 credits) from the following list PLUS THREE modules (60 credits) from their joint subject. Students intending to take the dissertation in stage 3 must take either HIS2055 or HIS2063.  Please see the bottom of this page for the provisional timetable.

History Major Honours Plan (for students entering before September 2012) 
Students are required to take FOUR modules (80 credits) from the following list (TWO in semester 1 and TWO in semester 2 PLUS Students also choose TWO modules (40 credits) from their minor subject. Students intending to take the dissertation double module in History must take either HIS2055 or HIS2063. Please see the bottom of this page for the provisional timetable for modules.

Minor History (for students entering before September 2012) 
Students are required to take TWO modules (40 credits) from the list below. Students also choose FOUR modules (80 credits) from their major subject. Please see the bottom of this page for the provisional timetable for modules.
