Undergraduate History (Level 3)

Programme Structure

Modern History Single Honours Plan
Students are required to take SIX modules (120 credits) from the list below (THREE in semester 1 and ONE in semester 2) plus the dissertation (worth 2 modules). For the provisional timetable see the bottom of this page.

Modern History Joint Honours Plan
Students are required to take THREE modules (60 credits) from list below and students also choose THREE modules (60 credits) from their joint subject. For the provisional timetable for modules please see the bottom of this page.

Major History and another subject (for students entering before September 2012)
Students are required to take EITHER FOUR modules (80 credits) from the list below (TWO in semester 1 and TWO in semester 2) OR TWO modules from the first semester list plus the dissertation in the second semester (worth 2 modules).  For the provisional timetable see the bottom of this page.

Minor History (for students entering before September 2012)
Students are required to take TWO modules (40 credits) from the list below.  Students also choose FOUR modules (80 credits) from their major subject. Please see below for the provisional module timetable.
