Module Overview

This module provides an introduction to the study of globalisation, using case studies drawn from anthropology and history. Among the issues examined are: global and local linkages in a world of economic, cultural and political connections; cultural convergence and the expression of cultural difference; migration, refugees, and trafficked people; diasporas and transnational family networks; and travel and tourism.
