ANT3025 Love, Hate and Beyond

This module introduces you to a range of theoretical and thematical issues central to the anthropology of emotions. The course is divided in three parts, focusing on the emotions as cultural constructions, the politics of emotions and on emotions and the senses.  The key objectives are to introduce you to anthropological and interdisciplinary approaches to emotions and to enable you to examine cultural, political, and physical processes from the perspective of emotion.
