Music and Identity: The Construction of Communities among Brazilian Migrants in Madrid, Spain
 
This reseach focuses on how the musical practices of Brazilian migrants in Madrid, Spain, contribute to the construction of identity. The study takes place within three different musical communities; Musica Sertaneja, Musica Popular Brasileira and Musica Gospel, and aims to elicit how Brazilians in Madrid navigate senses of Belonging through participation in music.
