‘Multiple identifications and emotional processes: Japanese migrant women in mixed families'
My study focuses on emotional aspects of migration and transnational family lives. Through life narrative interviews with Japanese migrant women in mixed families, living in Northern Ireland and the Republic, I will examine migrant women's identification processes which are affecetd by and affect thier emotional dynamics. The relationships between self-narratives and emotions are also explored.
