I have a BA in History from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London and an MA in Irish history and politics from the University of Ulster at Magee.
My thesis considers the role of the border in shaping twentieth century Ireland. My interests include: smuggling, poaching, cockfighting, border roads, the state and state power (including its material and spatial dimensions), class, gender, nation, boundary crossing, transgression, popular culture and resistance.
My primary supervisor is Dr Fearghal McGarry and my secondary supervisor is Professor Hastings Donnan
