University Tutors Applications

University Tutors are involved in delivering undergraduate tutorials in a range of topics.

The minimum requirements for someone wishing to act as a University Tutor is a second-class undergraduate law degree (or its equivalent) or a postgraduate law degree. Previous experience of undergraduate law teaching and study towards a research degree in law are desirable qualifications.

If you wish to be considered for any opportunities to provide teaching assistance which may arise please complete and submit this Application Form by 12:00 on Thursday 20 December 2012. If you need further information you can email the Law School at law.office@qub.ac.uk or phone (028) 9097 3597. Those who have previously acted as University Tutors in the School of Law must also complete and return this form if they wish to be considered for future opportunities. Those who are selected will be contacted by the School with the details of the modules on which we wish them to teach. Those who do not meet the essential criteria will be informed that they cannot be considered for any opportunities. Those who are offered teaching opportunities will be expected to undertake a short training course if they have not already done so.
