Tyndall Lecture for Schools
This physics lecture is held annually every January/February and demonstrates to schoolchildren fascinating applications and research from modern science. It is targeted towards 5th form (GCSE) and 6th form (AS-level) physics students throughout Northern Ireland. The event is sponsored by the Institute of Physics in Ireland and Queen's University Belfast and attracts upwards of 200 students to each lecture.
