Maths Competition @ Queen's
If you have the ability to enjoy solving mathematics puzzles and problems then this is your chance. All you need to do is register your team. There is no entry fee. Teams should have no more than 4 members and its members should be in years 12-13. Each school can enter only one team. There will be prizes for the first, second and third places. In addition all participants will receive a certificate.
Places for the competition are limited, so they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
The competition will consist of three parts. In the first part each team will work on 12 mathematical problems. In the second part teams will be required to complete a series of mathematical puzzles. The third and final part will be a Maths quiz. Each part will last approximately 45 minutes and there will be 15 minutes break after the first and second parts.
