To include B in Irish (B2 in Leaving Certificate) if taking CEL1001, 1002 and/or 1003.

Single Honours
Students will take the four compulsory modules listed at Level 2 and Level 3 and, additionally, eight optional modules. Students may substitute, for one or two of the optional modules, one or two modules at an appropriate level in another subject or subjects.
Major Honours
Students will take the four compulsory modules listed at Level 2 and Level 3 and, additionally, four optional modules.
Joint Honours
Students will take the four compulsory modules listed at Level 2 and Level 3 and, additionally, two optional modules.
Minor Honours
Students will take the four compulsory modules listed at Level 2 and Level 3.
RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS
Students taking CEL2001/2002 and CEL3001/3002 are normally required to spend a total of six weeks in the Gaeltacht in Ireland at an approved place of residence (Gaeltacht course).
