Session Four - Clinical Governance II
Clinical effectiveness has been actively used to improve the quality of treatments and services since the late 1980s. Health professionals are involved in audits and improvement projects as an integral part of promoting good clinical practice. Clinical effectiveness is reliant on the wealth of expertise, knowledge and skill of those who work with patients and who have an insight and understanding as to how the service works and how it could be improved.
This session will explore each component of clinical governance and how they contribute to the overall agenda of quality care delivery.
