June 2^nd – 6^th 2008: The school of nursing and midwifery had the pleasure of hosting Professor Karin Kersting, Professor Klaus Priester and Professor Jorg Reitzig from the School of Nursing at Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences, Germany. They were particularly impressed with the clinical education centre within the school.

Colleagues from Ludwigshafen visit to the School in April 2006

Professor Esther Berkemer from University of Applied Sciences, Ludwigshafen, Germany visited the School of Nursing and Midwifery on Wednesday 5th April 2006. She met with teaching staff and nursing students. The visit was a preparatory one, related to the possibility of developing a new international module for nursing students.

International get together of colleagues and students from Queen's School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Nursing, Szeged, Hungary and the School of Nursing, Ludwigshafen, Germany following the 10th anniversary of the School of Nursing in Ludwigshafen.

Dr Kathy Rowe was the invited guest speaker.
