Visit from Japanese Colleagues in March 2006
Prof Jean Orr and Dr Kathy Rowe welcomed Prof Yayoi Iwasaki, Professor from Chiba University, Japan when they visited the school on 8th and 9th March 2006 along with Prof Akiko Nosaki and Kaori Ishikawa and Reiko Wantanabe (PhD students).
There have been a number of exchange visits by both Schools over the past few years and it was good to see our colleagues again; Prof Iwasaki previously attended the School’s International Conference in August 2002 and Dr Kathy Rowe was invited keynote speaker at the nursing conference held in Chiba in 2004.
Professor Iwasaki’s research and teaching speciality is Mental Health and she really enjoyed her day on the community visits.
