Queen's visit to Jordan in April 2006
During a recent visit, 24th – 27th April 2006, Frances McMurray, Associate Head of School, Rosaleen Malone, Head of Division, Midwifery and Family Health and Kevin Gormley, Head of Division, Nursing and Public Health had the opportunity to continue this work and, also, to attend and contribute to the Jordanian Nursing Council’s (JNC) International Nursing Conference.
All papers delivered by the above were well received but, in particular, the beautiful photographs of Northern Ireland, taken by Kathy Rowe. All members of the TEMPUS project enjoyed the opportunity of meeting with HRH Princess Muna, patroness of the JNC and mother of the present King Abdullah. As always, our Jordanian colleagues welcomed our contribution and extended their warm hospitality.
