LAUNCH OF THE DOCTORATE IN NURSING PRACTISE IN ASIA

                                              

Professor Jean Orr,  Professor Sam Porter and Dr Kathy Rowe travelled to Taiwan and Thailand to launch the new Doctorate in Nursing Practice Programme commencing in 2008.

Colleagues in Fooyin University, Taiwan and Rangsit University, Thailand enthusiastically prepared the way for the launch and we were pleased to see representatives from other universities also.

Queen's visit to Rangsit University, Thailand in August 2006

Frances McMurray and Dr Kathy Rowe received a warm welcome on their visit to Rangsit University in August 2006.  Kathy presented the opening research paper at the university conference, and she and Frances gave seminars on nursing and nurse education in Northern Ireland.  It was an enjoyable visit and the school looks forward to working with our new partners in Rangsit.
