The Fatherhood Institute have recently highlighted a briefing paper developed by researchers here at the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The paper entitled 'Understanding Fatherhood in the 21st Century' was prepared by Colin Shaw and Dr Maria Lohan. Labelling it as 'outstanding', the Institute go on to explain that the policy briefing has summarised the research evidence and made recommendations for concrete changes in policy and practice for Northern Ireland.
