The School of Nursing and Midwifery (QUB) is holding its 1st annual postgraduate research conference on Wednesday 29th January 2014 (9:30am – 3:00pm).

This student led initiative, funded by the International and Postgraduate Student Centre, QUB aims to recognise the contribution of postgraduate students to the research profile of the School.  It also provides an excellent opportunity for contributors to develop their presentation and communication skills in a supportive environment. Delegates will also have the opportunity to meet and integrate with students from the various postgraduate programmes within the School. All students who submit an abstract will be guaranteed either an oral or poster presentation at this event. The conference committee (Gary Mitchell, Michelle Templeton and Helen Kerr) have secured two vouchers for an overnight stay for two people including evening meal and breakfast, at Jury’s Inn Belfast.  These will be awarded for “Best Oral Presentation” and “Best Poster Presentation” on the day.
