Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters courses for pharmacists
We recognise that most pharmacists find it difficult to take time out of work to attend day classes or clinical placements. Therefore, we have developed our postgraduate programme to meet the continuing education needs of pharmacists without requiring our students to attend the university at any stage. As a student on our programme, you can study when and where it suits you and much of the coursework can be completed as you go about your daily work activities. If you are an employer, you will appreciate the fact that your staff can undertake postgraduate education without leaving the workplace.
Our distance learning programme has been running for over 20 years and our staff have considerable expertise in the development and delivery of postgraduate distance learning courses . These courses have been developed for pharmacists both in the UK and beyond and we welcome applications from pharmacists worldwide. To date, our distance learning courses have been completed by approximately 3000 students in over 25 countries.
Students receive a comprehensive set of learning materials and resources and are supported by the staff in our dedicated Distance Learning Centre. In addition, students receive a detailed study schedule and submit assignments by e-mail according to their study timetable. Annual examinations are arranged in our students' home countries and MSc research projects are undertaken in the student's workplace.
