2013/14 Registration fees

Students pay an annual registration fee, which normally increases by inflation (approximately 3%) each year.

Registration fees for 2013/14 are as follows:

Home/EU students: £1845 (60 credits)

International (outside EU) students: £3075 (60 credits)

Students who join via credit transfer pay a pro rata fee depending on the amount of credit awarded.

Applying to join our September 2013 intake

Applications must be made via the Direct Applications Portal

The closing date for applications for our clinical and community pharmacy programmes is the 30th June 2013

Applicants from outside the UK and Ireland

The University requires evidence that international candidates are competent in the use of the English language. Suitable qualifications for this purpose include the following:

  • The British Council IELTS Test (minimum acceptable score is 6.0)
  • TOEFL (minimum acceptable scores are: Paper-based total 550, Computer-based total 213 or Internet-based total 79-80)

Please note: We are unable to offer any bursaries or scholarships for our distance learning programme.

Applying for Credit Transfer

Applicants who completed an approved postgraduate course after September 2008 may be awarded credit towards our 2013/14 programme. The amount of credit will vary depending on the content and level of the approved course. The following courses are approved for credit towards the PG Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy:

  • Certificate in Pharmacy Practice, University of London (40 points credit)
  • Northern Ireland Hospital Pharmacists Vocational Training Scheme (40 points credit)
  • Stage II Scottish Hospital Pharmacists Vocational Training Scheme (40 points credit)
  • PG Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy, De Montfort University (40 points credit)
  • PG Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy, Cardiff University (40 points credit)
  • PG Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics, Cardiff University (20 points credit)
  • PG Certificate in Therapeutics, The Robert Gordon University (40 points credit)
  • MSc in Public Health, Leeds University (20 points credit)
  • MSc in Applied Public Health, Liverpool John Moores University (20 points credit)

Applications for Credit Transfer for courses not listed above will be considered by the School's APL Panel. A Credit Transfer processing fee of £45 is payable for Credit Transfer applications for courses that have not been approved previously.

Applicants should state on their application that they wish to apply for Credit Transfer .

Please note: An application for Credit Transfer cannot be considered unless the applicant has applied to join our 2013/14 programme via the Direct Applications Portal
