Dr. Shirish Yakkundi obtained his PhD in Chemistry from University of Mysore, India, in the area of natural products. He has been working as a Research Fellow in the School of Pharmacy within Clinical and Practice Research Group (CPRG) since May 2005. The primary focus of his research is development of microanalytical techniques for quantification of paediatric drugs and pharmaceutical excipients from plasma and dried blood spots (DBS) using LC-MS/MS. He is involved in several international collaborations. He is a member of Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), British Mass Spectrometry Society (BMSS) and American Society of Mass Spectrometry (ASMS).
