The purpose of our open day is to allow you to gain further information about your potential course and to seek clarification and/or advice on any queries you might have.
There are opportunities to speak informally with staff and students within the School, to find out more about the specific degree programmes for which you are holding offers, to learn more about The School of Planning, Architecture and Civil Engineering and life at Queen’s University in general. There will also be opportunities to talk to our recent graduates and some employers. Ultimately, we hope that you choose our programmes as your firm (CF) and insurance (CI) choices.
The formal introduction in the Great Hall will begin at 10am but staff and students will be available to talk to you from 9.30am onwards. After a tour of the School’s facilities, there are opportunities to visit the award winning McClay Library, the Students Union, the Physical Education Centre, and The Elms Village (student accommodation). There will also be an architectural tour of Belfast leaving from the main site towards the end of the day.
