The QUB Politics Society, previously known as PolySoc, is proud to be one of the largest and fastest growing societies at Queen's. We welcome students from all backgrounds, with all kinds of political persuasion and provide them with a neutral base for intellectual debate and discussion - provided they are also up for making friends and having a bit of fun along the way. The society puts on an extensive calendar of social nights, film screenings, political events, debates, campaigns and many great nights worth of craic all year round.
Upcoming events include:
As well as this, the President and executive members of the Society are elected and sit on the schools Staff-Student Consultative Committee (SSCC) and Students' Union Council to ensure that students from the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy are fully represented.
PolySoc Executive 2012-13:

The QUB Politics Society runs our own bookshop, where students buy and sell boks at low costs. We are accepting books for sale from the 10th of September, and you will be able to purchase books from the 17th of September.
Our Facebook page is found at http://www.facebook.com/qubpolitics and provides information on what we do and what we have to offer students at all levels of their degree. 'Like' us and follow us on Twitter (@QUBPolitics) to keep up to date, and keep an eye out for our newsletters as well. Through these three channels we will keep you up-to-date with Politics Society events, as well as passing on information about other opportunities open to our members.
Come and see us at the Freshers' Fair on Thursday 27th September to find out more and to grab your membership for 2012/2013.
If you have any questions at all, please get in touch.
We look forward to meeting you!
