Staff/Student Consultative Groups

Students are at the heart of University and play a key role in life of the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy.

Representatives of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School are drawn from different years and, together with members of the teaching staff, form the undergraduate and postgraduate Staff-Student Consultative Committees (SSCC). The committees meet at least twice a year to ensure that the School receives evaluation and feedback on the quality of academic provision and associated activities and that the views of students are fed into the policy making procedures of the School regarding course development and review. Students should make their views known the students representatives.

The University’s Regulations concerning the Staff Student Consultative Committee are available here .
