2nd Seminal Lecture

The 2nd Seminal Lecture on Democratic Constitutionalism is to be delivered by Professor J.H.H. Weiler, Director of the Global Hauser Law School at New York University, the title is Putting the Toothpaste back in the Tube: The European Union without a European Constitution. John Broome philosophy lecture
Philosophy Lecture. John Broome (Professor of Moral Philosophy, University of Oxford). "The unity of reasoning?". Thursday 26 October 2006, 4.00pm in Room G01/16 University Square. John Broome has just moved from the University of St Andrews to the University of Oxford, where he is White's Professor of Moral Philosophy. He is a very distinguished analyst of moral value and its theory; his work emphasises the benefits of applying rigorous economic analysis to moral reasoning and vice versa. The titles of two recent books, Ethics out of Economics and Weighing Lives, give a good flavour of his work and interests.
