PISP Teaching Excellence rewarded in Awards

The School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy celebrated student-nominated excellences in its teaching recently with a double-whammy of award winners:

The QUB Students’ Union Education Awards, celebrated the hard work and dedication of Course Representatives, Peer Mentors, School Representatives and Staff across the University. The Award for Most Inspiring/Motivating Lecturer of the Year went to Dr. Keith Breen (PISP). Keith contributes to all levels of UG and PG teaching in the School and chairs the PISP Student Support Group. Congratulations to Keith.

The QUB Student-Nominated Teaching Award went to Professor Beverley Milton-Edwards. In their nominating statement, her students commenced her for “her unique ability to combine authoritative academic standing with a genuine rapport with everyone she teaches”. Professor Milton-Edwards contributes to all levels of UG and PG teaching in the School and is currently Director of Education. Felicitations to Beverley.
