Ethnic conflict; conflict management; the Balkans; human rights.
Research Interests
My main research interest is on the management of conflict and democratization of deeply divided societies, with special reference to the Balkans. I have a particular interest in the role of international actors in post-settlement interventions, and the influence of human rights norms in these interventions.
