A special undergraduate module on Scotland and Northern Ireland which looks comparatively at the political history and contemporary politics of both places; contributions to modules on Irish and British politics at undergraduate level and to the MA in Irish Politics.
The political history and contemporary politics of Scotland and Northern Ireland, particularly the politics of Unionism; the history and contemporary role of the Labour movement in the UK; political biography; the politics of sport.
Research Supervision: I currently supervise research students in the following subject areas: Ulster Unionism; the Protestant working class experience; the Ulster independence/ autonomy idea; the Politics of Direct Rule.
