Each School within the University has a Staff Student Consultative Committee (SSCC), which ensures that student views and feedback contribute to the running of the School. University guidelines concerning the SSCC are available here.
Representatives from all the undergraduate and postgraduate pathways across all years, come together with teaching staff to form the SSCC. The Committee meets twice each semester to discuss feedback on academic provision and other activities within the School. This feedback is acted upon where appropriate, and the views of the SSCC are fed into policy making procedures in the School.
If you have a particular issue which you feel should be brought to SSCC, please make your views known to your representative on the Committee.
