Sharing Responsibility for the Resilience of Young People in Care

Christine Mullan joined the Institute of Child Care Research in October 2006 and is currently at the design stage of a qualitative study focusing on residential carers in Northern Ireland and Denmark. She is interested in the differences in care giving approaches particularly since the Danish model of care giving is based on social pedagogy. She hopes to differentiate in the summer of 2007. Christine is funded by DEL as a full-time PhD student.
