What Are the Socio-Economic and Health Impacts of Micro Credit for Women in the Northern Region of Ghana?

I am now in my second year as a differentiated PhD student. I am undertaking an in-depth qualitative study into the Impacts of micro credit for Women in Ghana. My interest in this topic arose as a result of the increasing place of micro credit in Ghana’s fight against crippling poverty especially among women in Ghana. My research seeks to explore the utility of this measure in alleviating and empowering women and to explore in detail, the intra household and community relations resulting from loan acquisition, use and management.
