Paula Devine is Research Director of ARK (Northern Ireland Social and Political Archive), which has the aim of making social and political material on Northern Ireland available to the widest possible audience (www.ark.ac.uk).  She is co-director of the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey and part of the management team of the Young Life and Times Survey.  These are annual surveys recording the attitudes of adults and young people to a wide range of social policy issues.  She has extensive experience in the analysis of large-scale datasets, and coordinates the ARK Research Centre, which provides statistical analytical support to a range of academic, statutory and voluntary organisations and individuals.
