Postgraduate Research Scholarships

Postgraduate Research Studentships

Postgraduate Open Day

2pm - 4pm
Wednesday 30 January 2013
Top Floor of the Bernard Crossland Building.

The format has been altered this year to give you the opportunity to hear formal talks but also to spend time with the Research Directors and current PhD students. You can pick and choose talks in areas of research that may interest you and chat further with the academics and students over coffee. It really is an excellent opportunity to get all of your questions answered.

Refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there.

PhD Studentships

The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a number of fully funded research studentships, from the following sources:

Academic Requirements

The required minimum academic qualification for the DEL studentships is a 2:1 honours degree or a qualification considered equivalent by the University.   The qualifications must be obtained in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.  Candidates must have official, final results of all qualifications to be used to meet the academic requirements before the start of the studentship.

Residence Requirements for DEL Awards

DEL Studentships are available to eligible UK and EU citizens. To qualify for the full DEL award (fees and maintenance) applicants must have been resident in the United Kingdom or elsewhere in the European Union (for fees only studentships) throughout the period of 3 years immediately preceding the start of the studentship (or would have been so resident had you, your spouse or either parent not been employed temporarily outside the UK).

Applications are invited to be made electronically through the Queen's online application portal at https://daps.qub.ac.uk/portal/
