Dissertation and Project
Course Contents
This module gives the student the opportunity to demonstrate the skills learnt through the other modules on the course.
It provides experience of all stages of the development of an application in Educational Multimedia with particular emphasis on sound design techniques and methodologies.
The student will gain experience in the use of appropriate tools and literature to support all the major design decisions made in the project.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of the module the student will be able to implement a soundly researched and pedagogically appropriate solution to a given problem in the generic area of educational multimedia.
Skills
- The student will demonstrate skills in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of a piece of educational multimedia or equivalent product.
- The student will demonstrate skills of individual study, library and research skills, the ability to write in an academic manner using clear and accurate prose;
- time-management and project management skills, communication and use of IT;
- the ability to learn and apply such new skills as are necessary to complete the implementation and the ability to listen effectively and to use feedback constructively.
