Software Development For The Web

Course Contents

The aims of the course are to:

  • Familiarize students with the development of web content;
  • Familiarize students with the interaction modalities, development environments and tools for web content delivery;
  • Develop a working knowledge of dynamic behaviour of web sites via building skills to design and implement client side as well as server side code;

  • Demonstrate the skills to design and implement effective, highly interactive and dynamic web based systems;
  • Demonstrate the necessary skills for developing browser based systems,
  • Demonstrate the skills needed for coding at the client-side and the server-side
  • Demonstrate skills that reflect the understanding of concepts of languages used in web based content;
