Archaeology and Palaeoecology at Queen's

Archaeology and Palaeoecology at Queen’s provides a range of highly respected courses characterised by:

  • Splendid new facilities that have strengthened our ability to deliver high quality teaching in both Archaeology and Palaeoecology and provide opportunities for further research.
  • Skills-rich course content that contributes to the high graduate employment rate in both archaeological and non-archaeological careers.
  • A course that covers events in the world at large and provides students with many chances to undertake fieldtrips both locally and abroad. In Year 1 students normally have the opportunity to travel to Rome, while in Year 3 they usually undertake a fieldtrip to Malta.

Entry requirements (2013-2014)

Entry to a BA or BSc single or joint honours programme involving Archaeology and/or Palaeoecology and or with any other permitted subject, will require A2 levels of B, B and B in three acceptable subjects.
