The theme for this year’s scientific talks will be emerging technologies; speakers representing each centre will highlight a novel technique or approach to answer a specific question in their field.

*  The leadership workshop is facilitated by Caroline Duffy of Goldblatt McGuigan and will be useful for all research staff to explore their leadership qualities in the context of the research environment. Whether you are balancing commitments of your research, supervising students, writing grants and papers, this course will assist you in getting your priorities straight, working within the complexities of a team dynamic, motivating and engaging your fellow co-workers to deliver results,  and the essence of what makes a great leader.
