Cancer Bioinformatics Workshop Series

We have liased with the bioinformatics cluster to tailor the courses they are going to deliver for Post-docs to address our requirements.

The Cancer Bioinformatics Group are running a series of monthly bioinformatics workshops, usually on the last Thursday of each month at 2-4pm (see schedule on the Events Programme page) beginning on 29 January 2010, coordinated by Peter Hamilton and Shu-Dong Zhang.

Postdoctoral  researchers are the primary core audience and these workshops have been designed with specific molecular biology postdoc needs in mind. There will also be a flyer near each individual workshop to the whole CCRCB to welcome others to attend.  We hope that you will make every attempt to attend these relevant workshops. 


Training & Development at QUB

Queen's University offers many training and career development opportunities, some of them aimed specifically at contract researchers. We will continue to liaise with the Staff training and develoment Unit to organize courses in the future.
