Welcome to the Intercalated BSc Degree web site. The intercalated degree programme is specifically designed for medical or dental students wishing to extend their experience and qualifications by taking a year out of their medical/dental studies to work towards a Bachelor of Science degree in a specific subject. The intercalated programme at Queen's University has been running for at least 50 years and has seen over 100 students graduate in the last decade with a BSc degree in addition to their medical/dental degree. The BSc degree is not easy but is sure to be a challenging and stimulating experience.
There are also five intercalated Masters options available:
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Masters of Research in Translational Medicine (MRes)
- MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics
- MSc in Clinical Anatomy
- Masters in Psychology of Performance Enhancement in Sport and Health
Hopefully you will find all of the information you need here. However if you have any further questions please contact Dr Sean Roe who is the course co-ordinator.
