Health Clearance

The Department of Health has issued guidance on Health Clearance for Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV for healthcare workers including students, the University must ensure that students comply with the guidance given.

Dentistry students must be tested to show that they are not infected with TB, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV before final acceptance onto the course. Dental students may attend the University Occupational Health Service, by appointment, (5 Lennoxvale, Belfast , BT9 5BY , Tel: 02890 975520) for testing after the receipt of their offer.
