MRes in Molecular Medicine

Worldwide there is an increasing emphasis on the need to translate recent advances in genomic research to effective treatments for patients. Central to the realisation of this goal is a need for innovative clinician scientists with an understanding of disease at the molecular level and a strong training in research methodologies.  In response to this challenge the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen’s is offering a new Master of Research (MRes) in Molecular Medicine degree programme, appropriate for both Medical and Dental postgraduates, and undergraduate students seeking research training as an intercalated degree.  The Masters of Research (MRes) in Molecular Medicine may be taken either as full-time 1-year course, or as a part-time postgraduate programme over 2 years.  It is also available as an intercalated degree at the end of year 3 of the Medical/Dental curriculum.
