9:30AM - 4:00PM

Queen’s University Belfast School of Psychology, David Keir Building Room 01.403 8-30 Malone Road Belfast BT9 5BN

This is a free event for members of Division of Clinical Psychology only.

A one day refresher training on research for qualified Clinical Psychologists with Dr Donncha Hanna. Following the DCP research stream survey of staff in 2018, it was clear that although many psychologists in Northern Ireland were interested in conducting research, many felt a need to refresh their research skills. In response, the DCP have funded this one day event, aimed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to transform research ideas into specific research questions. Donncha will cover how to design research projects, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, and how to get started with ethics. This will be an interactive, relaxed day in the company of other interested but unsure colleagues! Research will no longer be something to fear!
